OUR STORY
At Midas, we don’t just set the gold standard we live by it. What began with designing gold chains and jewelry has evolved into a significant transformation in jewelry manufacturing. This evolution was a natural step that positioned us as true pioneers in the global jewelry industry.
The Founding Year
In 1983, Midas laid its foundation in a modest 200 m² workshop in Istanbul’s historic Çemberlitaş district. This milestone marked the start of a journey that would go on to shape the future of gold chain manufacturing and jewelry craftsmanship in Turkey.
Midas Reaches 100 Employees
In 1992, Midas reached an important milestone by expanding its workforce to 100 employees. This growth significantly increased the company’s production capacity, broadened its customer base, and reinforced its competitive position in the jewelry industry.
Midas Moved to Its New 15,000 m² Factory
In 1997, Midas relocated to a new 15,000 m² state-of-the-art factory to increase production capacity and improve operational efficiency. Equipped with advanced technologies and expanded facilities, this modern plant enabled Midas to optimize its manufacturing processes and serve customers with greater speed and precision. The move marked a key milestone in the company’s growth strategy, reinforcing its leadership in the jewelry industry.
Midas Reached 600 Employees
In 2007, Midas reached a major milestone with its workforce expanding to 600 employees. This achievement reflected the company’s steady growth and the invaluable expertise of its skilled team. With a dedicated staff of 600, Midas strengthened its leadership in the jewelry industry and set its sights on achieving even greater success on the global stage.

In 2007, Midas achieved a significant milestone by breaking its export record, marking remarkable success in international markets. This accomplishment expanded the company’s global market share and strengthened its competitive position worldwide. SAP ERP Integration Completed
In 2009, Midas successfully completed its SAP ERP integration project, which had been launched in 2007 to optimize business operations. This transition centralized all operational and financial data into a single system, enabling faster, more accurate, and more efficient management. The implementation also enhanced data analysis capabilities, improved decision-making, reduced lead times, and significantly increased overall efficiency.
ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 Certifications
In 2010, Midas obtained ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 Management System certifications to meet international standards in the areas of quality, environment and occupational health and safety. These certifications demonstrate the company’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards in occupational health and safety, environmental management, and quality management, while continuously striving for improvement. ISO 45001 focuses on prioritizing workplace safety and health; ISO 14001 addresses environmental management; and ISO 9001 covers comprehensive quality management. These certifications reinforced Midas' competitive position in the industry, enhancing both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

In 2016, Midas reinforced its commitment to ethical business practices, sustainability, and responsible supply chain management by joining the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) and becoming a certified member. This step introduced smart automation and advanced data integration, greatly improving efficiency and productivity. Through IoT systems, machines and devices began communicating seamlessly, making production more traceable, optimized, and predictable. Real-time data collection from every stage of the production line enabled faster, more accurate decision-making, ultimately enhancing product quality and customer satisfaction.
