The Founding Year
In 1983, the foundation of MİDAS, one of the cornerstones of the Turkish jewelry industry, was laid in a modest 200 m² workshop located in Istanbul’s Çemberlitaş district. This marked the beginning of a journey that would shape the future of gold chain and jewelry craftsmanship.
MİDAS Reaches 100 Employees
In 1992, MİDAS, a cornerstone of the Turkish jewelry industry, reached a significant milestone by growing its workforce to 100 employees. This achievement marked a crucial step in the company’s growth and development, boosting its production capacity and expanding its customer base. It further strengthened MİDAS’s influence and competitive edge in the industry.
MİDAS Moved to Its New 15,000 m² Factory
MİDAS relocated to its new 15,000 m² factory to enhance production capacity and operational efficiency. This modern facility, equipped with advanced production technologies and ample space, allowed MİDAS to optimize its manufacturing processes and respond to customer demands more quickly and effectively. The move was a key part of MİDAS’ growth strategy, reinforcing its leadership in the industry.
MİDAS Reached 600 Employees
The year 2006 marked a significant milestone for the MİDAS family as we reached 600 employees. This achievement, a strong indicator of our growth, was celebrated with pride. Thanks to the expertise and contributions of our skilled team, we solidified our leading position in the industry. With a dedicated workforce of 600, we continue to bring gold to life, aiming for even greater heights on the global stage.
MİDAS Broke Export Record
In 2007, MİDAS achieved remarkable success in international markets by breaking its export record. This accomplishment increased MİDAS' global market share, elevating its influence and competitive strength internationally. The export record reflects the company's success in quality standards, customer satisfaction, and global strategies, further solidifying its position in the industry.
SAP ERP Integration Completed
In 2009, MİDAS successfully completed the SAP integration project, which was initiated in 2007 to better manage its business processes. This transition centralized all operational and financial data into a single system, allowing for faster and more accurate management of business processes. The implementation of SAP enhanced MİDAS' data analysis capabilities, improved decision-making processes, reduced lead times, and significantly boosted overall efficiency.
ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 Certifications
In 2010, MİDAS obtained ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 Management System certifications to meet international standards in the areas of quality, environment and occupational health and safety. These certifications demonstrate the company’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards in occupational health and safety, environmental management, and quality management, while continuously striving for improvement. ISO 45001 focuses on prioritizing workplace safety and health; ISO 14001 addresses environmental management; and ISO 9001 covers comprehensive quality management. These certifications reinforced MİDAS' competitive position in the industry, enhancing both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsible Jewellery Council Membership
In 2016, MİDAS reinforced its commitment to ethical business practices, sustainability, and responsible supply chain management by joining the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) and becoming a certified member. This membership highlights MİDAS’ dedication to adhering to environmental and social responsibility principles across all its processes, from the supply chain to production, further strengthening its promise to be a trusted brand for its customers.
IoT and Industry 4.0 Applications
In 2019, as part of its digital transformation strategy, MİDAS implemented Industry 4.0 applications and established IoT (Internet of Things) systems. This innovative move introduced smart automation and data integration into production processes, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and productivity. IoT technologies allowed machines and devices to communicate with each other, making production processes more traceable, optimized, and predictable. With real-time data collection from every unit on the production line, MİDAS gained the ability to make faster and more accurate decisions, improving overall product quality and customer satisfaction.
MİDAS B2B Platform Launched
Default CIn 2024, MİDAS took a significant step in its digital transformation journey by launching its B2B platform, further strengthening interactions with its business partners. Recruitment and Placement

Performance Evaluation
Midas implements a performance evaluation system to ensure the integration of company goals with employee goals. Throughout the year, employees are monitored by their immediate supervisors and managers. Through mutual discussions with their supervisors, the employee’s performance and the achievement of personal goals are assessed based on pre-determined criteria and competencies. Based on the results obtained, necessary training and development plans are prepared.

Management: Ethical conduct is an integral part of Midas’ operations, ensuring the preservation of its reputation as a reliable and responsible business partner. All employees are expected to conduct their professional activities within the framework of these Ethical Rules. The Board of Directors is committed to emphasizing these ethical behavior guidelines, treating all employees with respect, and allowing them to implement these Ethical Rules in their work.
Fairness toward business partners, competitors, and other stakeholders: Every manager and employee will maintain fair and trustworthy relationships with business partners, colleagues, competitors, and other stakeholders during their professional activities on behalf of Midas. No unfair advantage will be sought through manipulation, concealment, misuse of confidential information, or any other unfair practices.
Conflict of Interest: All managers and employees will avoid activities that could lead to conflicts of interest. A conflict of interest may occur when personal activities conflict with Midas’ interests. Employees are required to report any potential conflicts of interest to the responsible management level as well as to the HR & Management Systems Department.
Anti-Bribery: Midas will not tolerate any of its managers, employees, and/or business partners, consultants, or agents engaging in bribery or corruption activities. This policy prohibits offering, giving, or accepting financial or other types of benefits to or from business partners, competitors, or government officials within the scope of business activities, except for nominal gifts or reasonable entertainment or hospitality as detailed in our Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Integrity Policy: Midas does not conduct business with individuals or entities involved in illegal and/or unethical activities. Our approach to integrity is based on a risk-based assessment of all stakeholders. Any reasonable doubt regarding the legitimacy of a transaction with a stakeholder must be reported to the responsible management level and to the HR & Management Systems Department.
Confidentiality and Privacy: Midas respects the privacy of its business partners and stakeholders and the confidentiality of the information provided to or shared between them. All officers, directors, and employees are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of this information.
Confidential information includes all non-public information that could be used by competitors or could be harmful to Midas, its business partners, and/or stakeholders if disclosed. Additionally, personal information of our business partners and stakeholders is also considered confidential. All personal information collected and stored by or on behalf of Midas will be protected in compliance with the law, ensuring the privacy and rights of individuals.
Consistency: Midas recognizes the challenges that may arise in interpreting these Ethical Rules, particularly in balancing local customs with global standards and practices in a sensitive and responsive manner. Midas will make every effort to resolve any potential issues in a manner consistent with these Ethical Rules while demonstrating the necessary care, integrity, and transparency.
Monitoring Compliance: Compliance with these Ethical Rules is fundamental to the success of our business activities. Employees are obligated to follow the instructions for implementing this policy and to cooperate in internal and external audits conducted under its authority. Violations of the Ethical Rules or other compliance policies may result in disciplinary action and, in the event of any potential criminal activity, will be reported to the relevant authorities.
Employees are also responsible for bringing any breaches of the Ethical Rules (or suspicions thereof) to the attention of management. Midas takes the utmost care to handle reports of misconduct with confidentiality, ensuring that employees can make such reports with confidence. All good-faith reports of potential violations will be subject to a fair and thorough investigation.
